Happy Thursday everyone! I am so excited to share my latest and greatest organizing remix! In one of my previous posts, Accessories, Accessories, Accessories, I discussed the multiple ways that I organize my necklaces, bracelets and earrings. However, as my necklace collection continued to grow, I found that they were getting tangled and harder to store. As I perused Pinterest, I came across a ton of ideas for organizing necklaces (see below).
Here is a picture that I found on Pinterest, I love how the necklaces are displayed on a single bar! Unfortunately, I do not have the space for this kind of set up in my room.
Here is another picture (from Pinterest of course) that I found with necklaces hung the same way as above, but multiple bars for hanging other items like scarves.
After purchasing and returning multi organizing contraptions in the past 2 weeks, I finally realized that the solution was under my nose the entire time! My boyfriend has a towel rack on the back of his bathroom door (yes I am rubbing off on him) and I realized that it would be perfect for organizing my necklace collection. Take a look at my old system and pictures of my new one and let me know what you think! The over-the-door towel rack is from Bed, Bath and Beyond and can be found here!
Here is a picture of my old system, an over-the-door rack with 8 hooks that did not do a good job of keeping my necklaces organized and tangle free 🙁
Here is a picture of the new over-the-door towel rack (only cost $9.99). It features 2 hooks on the bottom for additional hanging.
BAM! Here is my new system with bracelets on the top row and necklaces on the 2nd and 3rd rows. I used shower curtain rings for the bottom row of necklaces to give them extra space to hang.
