Hi everyone! I am super excited to share my latest and greatest project with you, my customized tv trays. Since deciding not to invest in a traditional coffee table for my living, I purchased two tv trays from Wal-Mart for $8 each to hold my beverages and such. After cruising Pinterest, I came across a pin of someone’s customized tray and it gave me the idea to do the same to mine.
My living room (and whole apartment for that matter lol) is decorated in cream, black and turquoise, therefore I decided to do a pop of cotton candy pink and cream and black stripes for my tv trays. I decided to use the same Martha Stewart Living craft paint found in Home Depot in Lampblack (textured black paint) and Behr paint in Pearldrop and Springtime Blossom. Also, I used Martha Stewart Living primer/sealer. Take a look at the pics below and let me know what you think! Have you customized anything in your home? Share your stories and pictures!!
