Happy Thursday everyone! Cannot believe how warm the weather has been in NYC in October! Wish this weather would last all winter. Anyway, naturally, I am excited to share an alternative idea for organizing and displaying perfume and jewelry by using a cake stand, yes a cake stand! I have seen pictures of this on Pinterest and decided to try it out for myself. Since I bake and entertain here and there, I have two cake stands already. I never really thought to use them to display my perfume or jewelry, but after trying some different variations, I really liked the look of them! I bought my glass cake stands from Pier 1, here is the link. Here are a few other options, a white scalloped cake plate and a 3-tiered serving tray, all below $20!

Here is a picture of my dresser, with the cake stands stacked on each other. I really like how they look on the mirrored finish.
Here are 3 slightly different views of the cake stand. I have small perfume bottles on the top stand and larger perfume bottles and bracelets on the bottom. You can use them for anything though, not just jewelry and perfume. I purchased the large and small cake stands, but there is a medium sized one that I could add if I wanted to.
