Hi Everyone! Happy Monday! Hope your week is off to a good start 🙂 I want to share my latest and greatest customizing DIY project with you! Recently, I posted about the multiple uses of hat boxes in my Scares, Gloves and So Much More! post (check out the link in case you missed it). During my holiday travels, my cousin purchased an adorable headband in London, much like the ones everyone wore to Prince Williams Royal Wedding. I suggested that she store it in a hat box for safekeeping and I decided to customize one for her to match the organizing accessories she already has.
I found a plain hat box set on Walmart’s website for $5.49, which is way less than the price of just one hat box if you buy them in the store. I used the same paint from my Cosmopolitan Customizing: Everyone Loves Ombre post, as well as Display Case Update: Cosmopolitan Customizing, with a color blocking technique and some jewels to decorate the largest box.
