Happy Monday Everyone! We are less than a few days away from 2015, can you believe it? This truly is one of my favorite times of year!
One of the things that I try to minimize is clutter, though, since the decorations and gifts come out during the holiday season. Living in a smaller shared space has posed a new challenge for me and I think I have found just the solution for it. So you may remember in some of my earlier blogs (you can find here), I talked about how easy it is to use storage cubes and how you can customize them to fit your decor. Well, I decided to do just that and it worked perfectly. I figured that the hallway was long and narrow and a storage cabinet may just have been too big to really be useful. So I went with the cubes I already had and loved the results (you can find the cubes here and here). By using the fabric drawers, I was able to hide all of my hair and bath products, as well as some other miscellaneous items that I didn’t really have a home for. You can find these collapsible drawers here. I picked 2 colors that went with our theme, but they have some many options to chose from, just take your pick!
Now lets talk about these gorgeous storage containers on top of the cubes! I have been collecting these for a few years and have found so many variations of the boxes in the same print (which means it must have been meant to be lol). I normally find them at stores like Marshalls, TJMaxx and Burlington (look at this one or this one), but I am noticing that some large retailers have them now too. If you don’t find a set you like, why not try customizing your own; check out my blog about that, you can find it here.
As always, thanks for reading and sharing and if you have any questions or wanna share your storage solutions, feel free to leave a message below! Also, if you haven’t already, follow me on Instagram @cosmopolitanclosets or on pinterest @mcarene
