Happy Hump Day everyone! I hope that you have been enjoying this NYFW-inspired organizing series! I hope the tips have been helpful and the suggestions have given you additional options to organize your wardrobe.
With that being said, lets talk about hats. Floppy hats, fedoras, sun hats, baseball caps, beanies, cloche hats and the like; are all so fab and so hard to organize. At one point, I had them hanging all over my room, getting trampled and dusty. It wasn’t until I purchased Genevieve (check out my post here), that I had somewhere to store my hats, but check out my pics below and some other organizing ideas and let me know what you think!
Here is Genevieve, outfitted in my best winter accessories, a faux fur scarf and a ton of floppy hats. I found her at Homegoods in NJ, but try googling “dress form” if you are looking to purchase one online.
This pic was featured in my Cubin’ It post. The circular containers in the middle have some of my smaller winter hats!
Here is another pic to show how they fit inside, I have about 8 hats in one box. Stores like Marshalls, Homegoods, Burlington Coat Factory and Bed, Bath and Beyond have a nice selection of decorative storage boxes and if you can’t find one you like, why not customize it yourself (check out this post for details on how I did one for my cousin here.
I recently purchased this cap rack for my bf in Bed, Bath and Beyond for $10! I will provide my review of this product in another post to come, so stay tuned.
I found this easy-to-do DIY on pinterest (original post can be found here on BeautyBitten’s website).
